This spin on an NY Sour celebrates the return of the best season with a bold mix of bourbon, crisp apple cider, zesty lemon, and warming ginger, crowned with a smooth red wine float.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. bourbon
  • 1 oz. apple cider
  • 3/4 oz. Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz. Ginger Syrup
  • Red wine

Method

    Step 1 In a cocktail shaker, combine bourbon, apple cider, lemon juice, and syrup. Fill shaker with ice, cover, and vigorously shake until outside of shaker is very frosty, about 20 seconds. Step 2 Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Slowly pour wine over to create a red layer. Garnish with lemon peel.
